About Laura
Launched in 2014, Laura Bendik Designs creates sophisticated, custom build homes and distinctive interiors for clients in the DC area and beyond. With a degree in interior design from Drexel University and a career in model home design spanning more than two decades, Laura has worked extensively with residential clients, custom home builders and developers. Laura is always inspired by the opportunity to be involved in projects from the ground up.
In addition to her interior design skills, Laura is well-versed in the processes and principles of architecture, construction, exterior material selections and streetscapes. She brings this invaluable breadth of experience to all of her projects and has been the recipient of awards from both regional and national builders associations. Laura’s approach to design marries beauty, quality and comfort with carefully considered planning and functionality. Bolstered by her long-standing relationships with builders, trades and manufacturers, Laura excels at pooling the necessary resources to ensure her client’s dream home becomes a reality.
Laura and her family make their home in Ellicott City, MD. When not designing interiors, Laura enjoys party planning and holiday decorating — applying her eye for style to creating memorable celebrations and events.
